Anoka game time change Saturday 9/23

A game change has been announced. The Anoka game on Saturday 9/23/17 has been changed to 5:00 pm start time for the girls varsity at home.  Boys will play at 7:00 pm. All other games remain the same.

The MSHSL controls the scheduling of games, so once that has been updated, the girls varsity calendar will automatically update.

Maple Grove Crimson Soccer

Welcome to the Maple Grove High School Crimson girls soccer web site.  Our high school teams encompass Maple Grove, Minnesota and the surrounding communities that call MGSH their school home.  We develop student-athletes to reach their full soccer potential and to achieve great things in the classroom.  MGSH teams consistently earn Northwest Suburban Conference honors in team GPA.

Crimson Varsity girls win at Armstrong

The Varsity Girls won, in overtime, to Armstrong on Tuesday 9/18 by  a score of 1-0.  The overtime goal was score by Abby Schulte.  Another shutout by Sara Cortez

The next game is this Saturday 9/23/17, 5 p.m. at the Crimson Stadium vs. Anoka.

Teacher Appreciation/Sponsor/Jersey Night: 9/26/17

Crimson SENIOR players and parents,

  • Just a kindly reminder to collect your photos, get your Interview form completed, and reply back to me with your 8 x 10 selection from Rich Molls website.
  • Everything is due to Margie Miller by Tuesday sept 26th.
  • Margie will be at Saturdays game if you would like to hand things off then.

The Senior Night Live Event takes place immediately following our last home game on Thursday Oct 5.

Time Line: We are getting the ceremony in before the boys game kicks off so time is of the essenceJ

  1. Senior parents/ VIP’s come down to the field immediately following the final buzzer.
  2. Senior players line up by your bench ( jersey number order from lowest to highest), and receive your long stem carnation
  3. Parents/VIP’s line up with your player
  4. Scott Schulte will announce each player as the players/parents walk down the track
  5. Debra Rayta will photograph your moment as you walk
  6. Players/parents should stand in a group at the end of the walk, ready for a group photo once all players have been announced.
  7. Following the group photos, everyone is invited to the south end of the stadium/near equipment room for refreshments.

2017 Concussion Testing

Concussion testing

Concussion testing is being offered free of charge this year. If your player gets a head injury this is a tool to help assess and get them back on the field as soon as is safely possible. The link to sign up is here:

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities available to help support the 2017 Crimson Girls Soccer program.  Please contact a booster club member for more details.  Many of these opportunities are available via DIBs.
